In August, K Camp published Vibe Forever, his most recent album. There were 12 songs on the well-received album, which featured Ne-Yo and Doe Boy. Fans have been enjoying accompanying visuals for singles like “Holy Spirit” and “Woozie” preceding the album.

This week (Oct. 27), the Atlanta native continues to deliver the freestyles that helped him become a household name. A remix of the widely popular “Tomorrow” beat is featured in this updated offering. After appearing on CMG The Label’s Gangsta Art compilation album as GloRilla’s contribution, the song was upgraded when Cardi B joined the remix. K Camp’s version of the song contains a few subliminal references to a past relationship:

In addition to Vibe Forever, the full-length FLOAT album was released last year. Among those appearing on this project were Mooski, Trey Songz, and PnB Rock, the latter of whom appears on the Ginuwine-sampling single “Life Has Changed.” His last release was Kiss 5, which ended a series of fan favorites that he started back in 2013. In the months following the release of the original EP, he returned to release the deluxe version, which contained six additional tracks and a new feature by Sevyn Streeter.

683 Lyft employees will be laid off as part of the company’s cost-cutting efforts.  

Ride-hailing giant Lyft is laying off 683 employees as part of a cost-cutting effort, the company said on Tuesday.  

The move comes as Lyft, which is scheduled to go public next month, looks to cut costs ahead of its debut on the stock market.  

The layoffs will affect 9% of Lyft’s workforce and are the biggest round of job cuts in the company’s history. The company will take a $60 million charge because of layoffs.

“We need to get to profitability and ensure our long-term health as a business,” Lyft co-founder and president John Zimmer wrote in a company-wide email. 

The layoffs represent about 9 percent of Lyft’s 7,000 employees worldwide. Most of the affected workers are based in San Francisco, where Lyft is headquartered, but there are also cuts in New York, Seattle, and other cities.

A mixtape, SNOFALL, was released last week by Jeezy and DJ Drama. The project includes 17 songs and features from 42 Dugg, Lil Durk, and EST Gee. It was announced this morning (Oct. 25) that the Atlanta legend has released a new visual from that project for the Dugg-assisted track “Put The Minks Down,” which is produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League and contains some of Jeezy’s most potent bars to date.

In addition, the accompanying video for “Put The Minks Down” was produced by Jerry Productions and features Jeezy visiting Detroit, Michigan. Due to ongoing legal issues, Dugg is unable to make a cameo appearance; however, the crowd comes to the Thug Motivation star’s aid with additional shots of high-end vehicles riding through the neighborhood.

A few years ago, Jeezy released his 12th studio album, The Recession 2, a collection of 15 tracks featuring contributions from E-40, Yo Gotti, Lil Duval, Demi Lovato, Tamika Mallory, Ne-Yo, and Rick Ross. Although the song was released back in March, the Atlanta-born singer appreciated the recent attention paid to the song enough to release its official music video yesterday (October 25). As her lyrics are played over various vlog clips of her year thus far, she has created a visual ode to the TikTok trend.

Mariah released the song along with an acknowledgement to those who had already been singing along for several weeks before it became viral. “I would like to thank my fans that were riding this stuff before TikTok!” “I created the video to reflect what your year was like based on your responses to our song,” she wrote on Twitter.

RY RY WORLD was Mariah’s last album before she passed away in 2021. Young Thug and Lil Baby both contributed to that body of work through their appearances on ten different tracks. According to the press release, the “Spread Thin” singer is currently on tour with Rod Wave in support of his “Beautiful Mind Tour.” Her most recent collaboration was with Dess Dior on her song “Stone Cold.”
