On Monday, President Donald Trump tweeted that Attorney General William Barr has resigned. He also praised Deputy Attorney General Jeff Rosen, and revealed that he would act as an Acting Attorney General. He also tweeted the resignation letter of Barr, wherein he explained that he will leave his job on Dec. 23.
According to CNN, a man who was serving a sentence of 90-years in relation to a nonviolent crime was released from custody. Back in 1989, Richard DeLisi was incarcerated as he exported weed from Colombia into Florida. After being found guilty of racketeering, trafficking in cannabis and conspiracy, his sentence was pronounced to be nine decades in jail, extending beyond the usual penalty of 12-17 years.
A 22-year-old man was shot by a La Marque police officer on Wednesday (Dec. 9), following investigator’s claims that he was a person of interest and may have been associated with recent shootings in the area. According to the family of the man, the victim was Joshua Feast, a Black man, from La Marque, Texas.

To assist boyfriend of Breonna Taylor- Kenneth Walker- Tyler Perry stepped in. On the night of Taylor’s tragic shooting, Walker was with her as Louisville police raided her apartment and killed her. Now, the Hollywood producer reportedly donated $100,000 to defend Walker since he is going to court and fighting lawsuit filed by an officer for assault and “emotional distress.”
After Black Lives Matter signs from churches situated in the Washington, D.C. area, were not only stolen, but also destroyed during a rally supporting Trump on Saturday. The protestors did not wear masks and were thousands in number, and were walking a “Stop the Steal” protest, claiming that the election was stolen from Trump. Police is investigating it as a hate crime.
