In Washington, D.C., clashes between supporters of President Donald Trump and counter-protesters became very violent on Saturday (Dec. 12) night. At the end of the clashes, nine people were injured, while a minimum of 33 people were arrested. The Freedom Plaza, on Saturday, witnessed pro-Trump crowds, such as The Proud Boys, supporting the president’s allegations regarding voter fraud in the presidential election.
After Black Lives Matter signs from churches situated in the Washington, D.C. area, were not only stolen, but also destroyed during a rally supporting Trump on Saturday. The protestors did not wear masks and were thousands in number, and were walking a “Stop the Steal” protest, claiming that the election was stolen from Trump. Police is investigating it as a hate crime.
After a Black woman denounced the allegations of voter fraud, she became a victim of racist threats. Democrat Rep. Cynthia Johnson of Michigan revealed that Donald Trump’s followers were harassing her, after her recent comments. Two weeks ago, Johnson heard testimonies from residents who were alleged witnesses of deception in the 2020 election. Giuliani came to present evidence regarding voter fraud, but he spoke about how Trump lost the state and was called out for spreading misinformation.
Very recently, DaBaby has released his latest project titled My Brother’s Keeper (Long Live G) and very quickly, he also released the video for “Gucci Peacoat.” This song references the way in which DaBaby was out in his peacoat throughout the day to ensure that people would go and cast their ballots on Election Day 2020 (Nov 3), and on the same day, he ended up losing his brother. The trial of R. Kelly, related to sex trafficking and racketeering will nows be held in early April, as it was announced on Thursday (Nov. 19) according to a judge ruling. This case is related to federal charges against the singer in Brooklyn. He is being prosecuted in three different cities. It was announced that the selection of jurors for the trial will begin mid-March, as announced by District Judge Ann Donnelly.
