NIGO released his latest album, I Know NIGO, last week, consisting of 11 tracks with contributions from Tyler, A$AP Rocky, The Creator, Kid Cudi, Pharrell Williams, the late Lil Uzi Vert, Pop Smoke, and more. There is a second appearance by Pusha T on the standout track “Punch Bowl” where he shares the spotlight with his brother No Malice as Clipse and “Hear Me Clearly,” the track of which later became an official single, featured Virginia emcee delivering his best coke raps over productions by Luca Starz, ThaMyind, Kanye West, and BoogzDaBeast:
On the small screen, viewers can watch Pusha T bring his bars to life courtesy of AWGE (who I Know NIGO has contracted to handle the visual work). Pusha raps and stacks bricks before another woman in the clip, rides the subway with his carriers, and participates (or demonstrates) an apparent robbery-in-progress, among other fascinating moments.
He added that both Pharrell and West will contribute production to his long-awaited album, which will see songs from both artists split into two sides: both will “mix” the songs, while West will just produce his own.
On his portion of the album, Pharrell devoted his attention to song composition, song structure, flow patterns and callouts. In terms of Kanye West’s approach, he focused more on the bars and the neck-breaking bop that came from the beat. My goal was to get the best results out of both of them, since they have different tastes in music.”
Earlier this week, its estate announced that posthumous emcee Phife Dawg’s long-awaited album, Forever, had been released. Today (Mar. 22) marks the sixth anniversary of his death, so it is perfect timing for the release of this project via AWAL.
Rapsody’s new album contains 13 tracks that are backed by a long list of collaborators, including Rapsody, Renée Neufville, Busta Rhymes, Redman, Q-Tip, Lyric Jones, Little Brother, POS, and plenty others. Production responsibilities were handled by people such as J Dilla, 9th Wonder, Angela Winbush, and more. Listeners were able to enjoy “Nutshell Pt. 2” before the album was released and Phife was able to showcase his rap talent alongside Busta Rhymes and Redman:

New York-born MC Joey Bada$$, who was nominated for four GRAMMY Awards, had spent time working on his debut album, collaborating with trusted artists, and curating a catalogue of songs that represented his music. An early report suggested the album would be entitled Give Thanks and the project was initially scheduled to be released in 2017. Listeners were offered the track “Beat The System” in 2020, as well as the single “Nutshell” in 2016.

With Alicia Keys and Kanye West as production, Fivio Foreign unveiled last month his new music video for “City of Gods,” which was also produced by Dem Jointz, The Chainsmokers, Ojivolta, Tweek Tune, Hemz, Lil Mav, and AyoAA. The Brooklyn artist followed up with his official visual for the track a few weeks later, which mostly revolves around Keys and Fivio’s dynamics in the Big Apple.

It has been four years since Quavo dropped his debut solo album QUAVO HUNCHO, despite the Migos being active in recent years.
