Day Sulan made some serious waves with the singles “Mascara” and “BIG” with Rubi Rose” in addition to making a massive appearance on the YG show “Equinox.” She also recently collaborated with her 4Hunnid Records boss and fellow labelmate D3szn for the highly anticipated track, Lil Wayne for “Blood Walk” as well as “Hit Em Up,” with YG once again for “Bailar,”
Featuring a sultry video that shows her and her fellow dancers using the track to perfection, she returns today with a brand new single titled “Gravity,” which arrives with a brand new music video.
With her new home team, collaboration and investment have been a key factor in Day Sulan’s success. As she described in a recent interview, being the first lady at 4Hunnid means the following:
“It means a great deal to me. I am getting a great deal of attention from YG. Having him go the extra mile for me only motivates me to do the same. As a result of everything he’s done for me, I’ve got some shit to do. The fact that I am now the first lady of 4HUNNID makes me go crazy. There is no option, it is mandatory.”
EST Gee and 42 Dugg teamed up earlier this month for the release of their joint project Last Ones Left, a collection of 17 tracks that includes contributions from members of each group’s respective crews, including EST DeMike, 42 Cheez, YNT Tae Money, EST Zo, and more. Earlier today (April 15), the upcoming CMG act released a video for the opening track from its upcoming album, Last Ones Left, “Ice Talk,” a track that was produced by Helluva Beats and serves as a courtesy introduction for those who don’t yet know the act:
A video accompanying the article shows the two somewhere possibly tropical, courtesy of Diesel Films. Dugg also continues to catch vibes in various locations around a presumed resort, while he delivers the bars under red lighting. Throughout, the song is short and direct.
The band’s lead singer, Gee, spoke recently with Apple Music’s Ebro Darden about the creation of Last Ones Left:
“Me and Dugg spend most of our time in the studio together. The fact that we have so many songs together makes it only logical that we should release something together. I think both of us are highly sought-after artists, and our fan bases like it, and is convenient for our geographic areas of Michigan and Kentucky. “There will be a lot of good music from me and Dugg.”
It has been a while since EST Gee and 42 Dugg provided us with some hard-hitting visuals from their new mixtape, Last Ones Left, which officially dropped today and includes previous cuts like “Everybody Shooters Too” and “Free The Shiners.” Along with the project is another called “Thump Shit,” which features production from Jared Brown, Spiff Sinatra, Big Papito, and Isaiah Brown and is made up of street-oriented bars that are so multi-layered that more than one listen will not be sufficient to penetrate:
Diesel Films once again works its magic with the video for “Thump Shit,” which is a testament to what it means to live the rockstar lifestyle. As shown in various positions throughout, 42 Dugg and EST Gee are both decked out in heavy jewelry. In addition, they appear in a nightclub where Lil Baby makes an appearance.
Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group recently found success with Last Ones Left, which also features BlocBoy JB, Blac Youngsta, Moneybagg Yo, and Mozzy–the last of which Gotti announced during a CMG conference that took place over the weekend of the Super Bowl:
The legendary rapper said he has always wanted to work with an artist from the West Coast. “We’ve had big conversations, ran into each other, and shared ideas for years. Tonight, we bring our mozzy into CMG as a part of our partnership.”
Rappers have been hitting the scene in recent times and Fivio Foreign is one of those. A rapper who consistently creates bangers from singles and features without any full-length albums must be a different breed of artist. The popularity of social media and streaming is reaching new heights every day, which makes it possible that music will be here tomorrow and gone the next. Even though he has yet to prove to the world that he can overcome the odds set against him in this industry, New York rapper Eminem has proven beyond doubt that he can succeed. The highly anticipated debut album of Fivio Foreign, titled B.I.B.L.E., is now available.
In conjunction with the release of his second album, B.I.B.L.E., Brooklyn rapper Big Drip has released a documentary. Directed by Sam Balaban, the film takes an in-depth look at the life of “Big Drip” rapper, unveiling his family, the creative process of how he created music, and his experiences with losing those he loved, including his mother. One somber scene shows him saying, “I have lost family members and people close to me all my life.” “Death has always been a part of my life. When my mother died, I couldn’t forget her. When you experience these moments, you kinda wonder if God is real. But it’s important to remember that God is the reason we experience these moments. It’s natural to be sad sometimes, but we have to understand that it’s just part of life.”
Ye served as the executive producer for the album in an effort to add some sauce. Featuring 17 songs and 17 features, B.I.B.L.E. includes Ye, A$AP Rocky, Quavo, DJ Khaled, Alicia Keys, Lil Yachty, Vory, Polo G and more!
It was back in February when Fivio Foreign, Kanye West, and Alicia Keys collaborated on “City of Gods,” an impressive anthem that eventually made it onto West’s Donda 2 album. As of today (April 7), Hemz, Lil Mav, the AyoAA, The Chainsmokers, Ojivolta, Tweek Tune, Dem Jointz, and West-produced track is further extended by Keys herself, who tickles the ivories of New York City by reiterating:
With “City of Gods (Part II)“, Sylvia Zachary and Sing Lee create a accompanying video that features Keys arriving in an unusual Mercedes Benz, adorned with a heavy amount of jewelry and a high-profile guest appearance by rap legend Slick Rick. Keys appears to be riding into the distance with an effect that makes it appear as if she is headed into the future.
The artist’s eighth studio album released last year was titled KEYS and featured 26 tracks over two volumes along with contributions from Mike Will Made It, Swizz Beatz, Pusha T, Lil Wayne, Swae Lee, and more. According to an interview with the multitalented artist, this was the process of creating the album:
ALICIA was my last project and I knew KEYS would follow suit. It was imperative to me that I stay true to my core as I did with ALICIA. I spend just as much time at the piano as I can writing songs, creating timeless music.”
