With his new single, “Toxic,” YG stirs the pot

YG is currently working on the final touches to his upcoming album, Pray For Me. Fans have had the chance to listen to strong previews such as Moneybagg Yo, “Run” with BIA, Tyga, and 21 Savage, and “Sign Language” and “Scared Money” with J. Cole. On this occasion (Aug. 12), he released “Toxic,” the latest track taken from the project. As YG raps about relationships, he talks about the ups and downs:

Mozzy and YG previously collaborated for their Kommunity Service project back in May with singles like “Perfect Timing” with Blxst and “Bompton To Oak Park.” YG and Mozzy released a steady stream of videos for the project including “Vibe With You” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and “Mad” by Young M.A.

In addition to recently appearing on “Power Mornings” on Power 106 Los Angeles, the California rapper discussed the subject matter of his upcoming album, Pray For Me. Currently, no date has been confirmed for the release. According to YG, it is simply the development of his personal headspace, the stage he is in in life, and what he is going through. The whole COVID pandemic thing was terrible, but I also see it as having helped me get to where I am mentally today. Throughout our lives, we grow as humans, as people. Everything I do will contribute to my personal growth. My life is just going to be a musical expression of my truth at the moment.”

Larry June, the rapper and entrepreneur, has released a new track called “Private Valet” via Empire over the weekend. June and his orange Lamborghini are pictured in the accompanying music video. Directed by LX, the video follows June as he explores the cityscapes before settling into his car. A Jake One-produced beat is the backdrop for June’s smooth rap about enjoying life’s finer things.

As part of his “Orange Print Pollstar Tour,” June recently completed the final leg of the tour which sold out across North America. Since releasing his Orange Print project in July, June has been releasing smooth visuals for his fans to groove to ever since. The first cut was “Still Cookin,” followed by “6am In Sausalito” and “Intercepted” with Money Man. As a result of the Orange Print’s success, it cracked the Billboard Top 200 for the first time in its career and has surpassed well over 25 million streams.

The Late Night was Larry June and Cardo’s joint project, which they presented after collaborating in September. A total of seven new tracks are included in the album, all of which remain featureless to make the musical chemistry between the two duos stand out.

Reason returned to the scene earlier this month with the new single “Is What It Is,” which was produced by Hollywood Cole and features an assist from Jay Rock. In the following days, the TDE rapper released “Barely Miss.” Sharing the same cover artwork as his previous release, “Barely Miss” may signal the beginning of his forthcoming album’s rollout. The new track from REASON features a smooth beat produced by Mike Hector:

After the release of the track, REASON discussed his musical chemistry with Mike Hector and hinted that there’s much more in the vault for him. “My brotha produced this,” the rapper types. “Me and Mike did at least ten joints. Earlier this week, I released my new single “Barely Miss”! The producer is one of my favorites right now! Thanks, brotha!”

The debut studio album by Reason, New Beginnings, was released back in 2020. There are also appearances by Alemeda, JID, ScHoolboy Q, Rapsody, Vince Staples, Ab-Soul, Mereba, and Isaiah Rashad on 14 different tracks. On his new album, Post Malone has a “Twelve Carat Toothache”

On his new album, Post Malone has a “Twelve Carat Toothache”

It has been more than two years since Post Malone became a music sensation with the release of his first single “White Iverson” (which has been certified platinum by the RIAA eight times as of April 22, 2021). In 1996, Stoney’s debut album (which achieved 5x platinum with the RIAA) marked the beginning of his musical development and he hasn’t looked back since. Post Malone has carved his own path through the years and has become a household name; he will only become bigger and better moving forward. While Posty hasn’t been heard from since his album Hollywood’s Bleeding was released back in 2019, he returns this month (June 3) with his fourth studio album Twelve Carat Toothache, which he says is his most honest work so far.

Post Malone recently opened up about staying away from social media, dealing with writer’s block and more while sitting down with Zane Lowe. “Have I made any changes in my perspective or have I made any changes in my mental state to distance myself from that has benefited my life in a positive way?” This was my statement. The thing that matters is that you’re comfortable with what you’re doing because you’ve got to be comfortable with what you’re doing if you want to succeed. In addition, he doesn’t feel very confident with social media,” he said about staying away from it as much as possible.

Post Malone describes the record’s placement as follows: “I haven’t been in my bag for a long time, and I am trying to acquire it again.” Roddy Ricch appears on the album’s lead feature. “We knew exactly what we wanted to say, and we knew exactly how we wanted to express our thoughts, both in that song as well as in that particular moment of the album,” stated Posty.

Rayven Justice raised his game even higher with the release of his EP titled Many Moons a few months back; the EP is composed of eight tracks with a wide range of musical influences and features guests like Sage the Gemini and K-Major. With a new track out this week, Oakland singer-songwriter daft has returned with his follow-up, “Daddy”. The new record, featuring Traxamillion production, finds Rayven chasing down a certain someone who has come his way:

The EP he released last year, entitled Late Nights Early Mornings, included some narrated thoughts by Rayven Justice. Bizzy Crook, Drenesse, and Trinidad James were included on the eight-track project. As Rayven dropped off R&Bay Volumes 1 and 2 in May and September of that year, he had a busy year overall for that year. Both compilations benefited from the assistance of Yhung T.O, Lil B, Ally Cocaine, Young Bari, Rico Tha Kidd, and plenty more.

While doing this, he also collaborated with a number of peers on songs, such as “Mob Ties” featuring “From This Point On” by Drenesse, “Where You At?” with Baeza and Selo, ALLBLACK anBully Wiz, and “Just Right” with Bryson Tiller. Additionally, he proudly repped Oakland when he was cast in E-40 and Too $hort and Ain’t Gone Do It/Terms and Conditions project.
