A former New York Police Department (NYPD) officer was ordered by a federal judge to pay $1 million to a Black woman, as he broke into it when he was intoxicated. This large settlement must be paid by Michael J. Reynolds to Conese Halliburton, as he entered her place and used racial slurs when she was present with her children. In the year 2018, Reynolds along with other NYPD officers visited Nashville, Tennessee to celebrate a bachelor party, where they stayed in an Airbnb adjacent to Halliburton’s home. A video camera captured Reynolds kicking in the front door of her home and walking in.
The third studio album of SAINt JHN will release next month. The LP titled While the World Was Burning features 13 tracks as well as features from 6LACK, Kehlani, J.I.D, Kanye West, Future, DaBaby, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and Lil Uzi Vert. The movie titled “SMOKE: Marijuana + Black America” will look into the culture of marijuana was along with its hypocrisies. Moreover, it focuses on the legal aspects and their effects on the Black community, African-American cannabis entrepreneurs as well as the absence of Black-owned dispensaries in America. This documentary will include anecdotes from policy makers, innovators and enthusiasts of the industry such as vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris, Ty Dolla $ign, Senator Cory Booker, Al Harrington, Cheyenne Parker, and C.J. Wallace.
Recently, a one-month human trafficking operation was closed by the authorities in Ohio, which resulted in the arrest of 179 people as well as recovery of 109 missing people which includes 45 children. In the history of Ohio, “Operation Autumn Hope” was the largest human trafficking sting operation. Moreover, this cleared the cases of more than 70 missing and exploited children. The mission intended to put an end to sex trafficking and over 50 organizations partook in it. The attorney general’s office stated that four different goals were involved in the sting, which includes arresting males seeking to purchase sex, finding missing children who are exploited, and directing them to social services.
