New single “Dope” from John Legend and JID

The singer-songwriter has been active for two years since releasing Bigger Love, which featured 16 original songs and contributions from Gary Clark Jr., Jhené Aiko, Koffee, Rapsody, and Camper. The multi-talented artist has kept busy with collaborations and songs such as D Smoke “Stay True,” Lecrae “Drown,” “We Did It Big” by T.I., “Coming 2 America” featuring Burna Boy, Chance The Rapper “See Me Fly,” Carrie Underwood “Hallelujah,” “Die Under The Moon” with Yung Bleu, and French Montana “Touch The Sky.”

Besides the songs cited above, Legend also contributed songs to the project in the past few months such as “You Deserve It All” in collaboration with Raphael Saadiq, “Tomorrow” featuring Nas and Florian Picasso, and “FREE,” which has given rise to hopes for a possible new album. Adding to the fire when he drops “DOPE” today (May 18), Legend features an assist from JID on the Charlie Puth-produced track. On this chilled track, Legend and JID have their significant others glued to their arms:

As Legend explained in a recent interview with the Guardian, there is currently controversy surrounding Roe v. Wade:

“I can’t sit there and watch this shit happen. There’s a danger that we will not be able to become a full-fledged democracy. Our government is in the process of enacting a law relating to The Handmaid’s Tale. It is doubtful that we will be able to reach a conclusion by “kumbaya”. At this point, we must fight, and I will participate in the fight.”

Young Dolph and J Stone collaborate on new single “Weekend”

Young Dolph and J Stone collaborate on new single “Weekend”

J Stone announced this week that he would release The Definition Of Sacrifice, the final installment in his trilogy “Definition”. Among the artists who are working on the project are Young Dolph, Swizz Beatz, Jadakiss,, Mozzy, OT Genasis, Styles P, K Camp, and Lumidee. The announcement of the upcoming album was accompanied by release of a brand-new single, “Weekend”. This track features an outstanding feature by the late and legendary Young Dolph and captures the excitement of making it to the end of the week:

The chemistry, the game of independent grind we share, and our shared drive made working with Dolph like working with Nipsey. Almost every single day, he would FaceTime me about shooting the video. “Unfortunately, the unimaginable tragedy took place almost just as hard as Nip’s passing,” Stone said in a press release about the collaboration. Nevertheless, I will stick with the script and the plans that both Dolph and I had for The Weekend because that is what he would have desired. A hymn to remember, a song for a lifetime.”

The Definition of Pain and Ground Zero were two J Stone projects released last year. As for the project, it contains 18 tracks total and features artists such as the late great T.I., Nipsey Hussle, T-Pain, Dom Kennedy, Dave East, Mike D’Angelo, and more. Pacman da Gunman collaborated with Ground Zero. Those two projects were preceded by The Definition of Loyalty from 2019. The Bootleg Kev Podcast’s J Stone confirmed earlier today that a posthumous Nipsey Hussle album will definitely happen someday.

New sexual assault troubles for rapper T.I and wife Tiny

New sexual assault troubles for rapper T.I and wife Tiny

Another two women have recently made sexual assault claims against rapper T.I and his wife Tiny.

Both women filed similar police reports in California and Nevada, where they claim to have been drugged and raped by the famous rapper and his wife.

A spokesperson from the LA police department stated that they are actively investigating the incident, which allegedly occurred in 2005. The victim claims she was given a presumably spiked drink and was soon after assaulted by the couple. This accuser has requested that her identity is not revealed.

The second woman waived her right to anonymity and can be identified as Rachelle Jenks. Jenks came forward with a report suggesting that a similar situation occurred to her in 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Las Vegas police department would not reveal whether or not an investigation is currently taking place

Attorney Steve Shadow released a statement on behalf of T.I and his wife Tiny saying the Harris’s have not had any form of contact with any law enforcement jurisdiction in the country.

Both of these accusers are being represented by attorney Tyrone A. Blackburn. Blackburn is managing claims for several other women that have similar acquisitions against the Harris’s.

Blackburn released a statement saying he was pleased the LAPD was investigating these allegations. He also responded to the Harris’s request for all accusers to come out publicly, stating that his main concern is the safety and wellbeing of the women involved. He also goes on to say that all the women have been identified to law enforcement, and he believes that’s what matters most.

Blackburn reported he was requesting a criminal investigation and promptly approached law enforcement in Georgie and California on behalf of 11 individuals who claimed they were in some way victimized by the Harris’s. T.I. and Tiny face a number of serious charges ranging from sexual abuse, and kidnapping, as well as terroristic threats, and false imprisonment for incidents that occurred between 2005 and 2018.

In addition to these claims, other acquisitions have also recently come to light against this couple.
