“Lord Forgive Me” is delivered in a new and intimate rendition by Tobe Nwigwe.

Throughout the past few weeks, Tobe Nwigwe has been providing fans with visual accompaniments to each track from his moMINTs album. As a result, he has switched gears to perform his “at the crib” versions, which are intimate renditions of each track recorded directly from his mother’s bedroom. As of yesterday (Nov. 14), the Texas-born rapper shared a new clip titled “Lord Forgive Me.” During the clip, Nwigwe is accompanied by his talented band, Fat, and his innocent child on his lap, all of which enable him to deliver his honest lyrics:

It has been reported that Nwigwe has already released another project titled Cincoriginals, a 14 song compilation which has been recognized for featuring Big K.R.I.T., Killa Kyleon, Bun B, Trae Tha Truth, Cyhi The Prynce, Black Thought, Royce da 5’9”, D Smoke, and Fat. Throughout the years since then, he has also released a series of loose tracks, including “Wake Up Everybody,” “A Million,” and “A Revealing Freestyle.”

In addition, he recently posted a wholesome highlight on Instagram last week which showed a moment when his son achieved a milestone in front of a large crowd. “I had the pleasure of watching my son’s first steps on stage and my first sold out show in London at the Koko in 2007.

Mahalia releases new single titled “Bag Of You”

Mahalia releases new single titled “Bag Of You”

A new EP from Mahalia was released last month entitled Letter To Your Ex. This short and sweet project featured a love story told from different perspectives and spanned just five tracks. The British singer decided over the weekend that it was already time for a follow-up release, and she released the single “Bag Of You.” In addition to the new release, the British singer has released an Oliver Kane-directed video that illustrates her relaxing day at the beach as she sings the descriptive lyrics:

As the “Simmer” singer prepared for the release, she talked about some thoughts that had been on her mind that inspired the song. “I would like to speak with you about some matters. First of all, the fact that you are on your own. Several months ago, I was terrified of being alone,” she wrote on Instagram just before announcing the release of the song. She then proceeded on to describe the detailed process she lived through of finding peace in her solitude in extensive detail. “ In order to accept somebody else’s love with a genuine heart, I had to fall in love with myself again. However, here I am, in fact, in a state where I have accepted myself and have begun to believe in myself and in my heart,” she stated.

Earlier in 2019, Mahalia released her sophomore album, LOVE AND COMPROMISE, featuring 13 tracks and contributions from Terrace Martin, Burna Boy, Lucky Daye, Hamzaa, and Ella Mai. Her Isolation Tapes were released in 2020, and included three previously unreleased tracks.

“Say You Want Me” is the new visual from Masego

A two-year period has passed since Masego released his Studying Abroad: Extended Stay project, which includes the vocal contributions of Don Toliver, Shenseea, and TeaMarr. There have been a number of well-received loose singles released since then, including “Garden Party” with JID and Big Boi and “Yamz” with Devin Morrison.

In today’s (Nov. 4) release, DMV-bred artist “Say You Want Me,” the lead single from his forthcoming album, makes his return. The official music video for the single was directed by Alexander Black and it was filmed in sunny Los Angeles, California. As Masego delivers his lyrics in the video, he is engulfed in a joyful sense of community as he is surrounded by an atmosphere of joy:

“In a press release, he stated that he wants to hear people mention the name Masego when they mention life, music, black romance, and dance, and he stated that he is looking forward to hearing that name.

In addition to the mentioned Studying Abroad project, he also released his official debut album Lady Lady in 2018. This album was notably slowed down by De’ Wayne Jackson, Tiffany Gouché, SiR, and FKJ. In addition to his roots in TrapHouseJazz, he has also contributed his assistance to recent tracks such as “Must Be Nice” with Joyce Wrice, “Oveja Negra” with Llane, “Stickin’” by VanJess and Sinead, “Silk” with Kojey Radical, and more.
