Usher’s “Good Good” Music Video: A Vibrant Post Break-Up Anthem

Usher is back and better than ever with his latest music video for the hit song “Good Good.” Directed by Warren Fu, the video takes place mainly on Atlanta’s iconic Jackson Street Bridge and showcases Usher’s signature style and creativity. Usher Pays Homage to His Past Videos

Diehard fans of the R&B crooner will notice the subtle nods to Usher’s previous music videos in “Good Good.” It’s no secret that Usher is a master of paying homage to himself, and this video is no exception. Just like in his recent “Boyfriend” video featuring Keke Palmer, Usher once again celebrates his own artistry and legacy by referencing his iconic videos for “You Make Me Wanna” and “Burn.” It’s a clever way for Usher to remind us of his musical journey and the impact he has had on the industry.

A Post Break-Up Anthem with Vibrant Energy

“Good Good” is more than just a catchy tune. It’s a post-break-up anthem that captures the emotional rollercoaster of a failed relationship. Usher’s lyrics express the bittersweet feelings that come with the end of a love story. He sings, “I hate that we didn’t make it to forever. Probably ain’t gettin’ back together. But that don’t mean that I can’t wish you better. We ain’t good good, but we still good.” These heartfelt words resonate with anyone who has experienced the complexities of love and loss.

The Collaborative Magic of Usher, Summer Walker, and 21 Savage

Usher’s collaboration with Summer Walker and 21 Savage adds an extra layer of depth to “Good Good.” Summer Walker’s soulful voice complements Usher’s smooth vocals, creating a perfect blend of R&B and contemporary sounds. 21 Savage’s signature rap style adds a unique and edgy element to the track. Together, these three artists create a musical masterpiece that showcases their individual talents and perfectly captures the essence of the song.

Usher and Chilli: A Failed Relationship on Good Terms

Given the nature of “Good Good” as a post-break-up anthem, some fans were hoping to see Usher’s ex-girlfriend, TLC’s Chilli, make a guest appearance in the music video. The song discusses a failed relationship, with the exes still being on good terms. However, Chilli revealed in an interview that she and Usher haven’t been in touch since 2019. She explained that she had to cut him off for good to focus on herself and her own personal growth. Both Usher and Chilli have since moved on with their respective partners, Matthew Lawrence and Jennifer Goicoechea.

Evolving into a CEO is a beautiful transformation.

Most independent artists focus solely on creating music rather than learning the business components of music. Sadly, this lack of interest and discipline opens the door to immense financial exposure, betrayal, and misinformation.

You give others unparalleled power over your life when you let them control your knowledge. Generating billions of dollars, young black talented artists fuel a large portion of America’s economy. In spite of this, they receive the smallest portion of revenue from the music industry.

Music icon T-Pain stated on the wildly popular podcast ‘Drink Champs’ that record labels generated seventeen billion dollars in revenue and artists only received twelve percent! Yo Gotti, Rick Ross, Nelly, Ray J, Diddy, Drake, Jay-Z, Ludacris, 50 Cent, and more have turned from recording artists to music moguls.

Numerous platinum plaques and million-dollar entities are owned and operated by them all. Most of the artists that appear on the ‘Forbes magazine’ top 30 earnings list are CEOs.

In 2022, XAYWAY is a hybrid Generation Z music executive.

Major Record Artist/Multi-Platform Entrepreneur XAYWAY represents the new-age Generation Z hustler. As a multimedia entrepreneur, XAYWAY has fully embraced his role as a mogul. XAYWAY’s parent company provides a corporate umbrella for multiple interactive companies.

XAYWAY’s brands include a record label, clothing line, global merchandising, music publishing, and TV/Film. The business acumen of XAYWAY landed him an executive role with the digital branding agency RADIOPUSHERS.

XAYWAY is solely responsible for increasing, monetizing, and building RADIOPUSHERS’s YouTube division. As head of YouTube Engagement and Monetization, XAYWAY will lead and conduct YouTube training sessions for indie artists on Spotify Live.

In honor of Black Music Month, Usher delivers an amazing “Tiny Desk” concert

Following a few weeks of teasing, NPR Music today (June 30) premiered its latest episode of their critically acclaimed “Tiny Desk” series, featuring Usher’s performance. As well as a top-of-the-line backing band, Vedo and Eric Bellinger provided background vocals for the R&B legend. The clip lasted approximately 25 minutes and featured Usher’s renditions of classic tracks such as ,” “Confessions Part II,” “Superstar,” “U Don’t Have To Call,” “You Make Me Wanna…,” “Nice & Slowand “My Way.”

His appearance on “Tiny Desk” follows his co-headlining responsibilities at this year’s Something In The Water festival, making him one of the festival’s biggest highlights. As Usher left the stage, he honored Pharrell Williams, who joined the party and helped create the festival.

Usher has not released a new album in six years; Hard II Love is a 15-track collection that features contributions from Priyanka Chopra, Young Thug, Future, and Rubén Blades. A total of 38,000 album equivalent units were sold in the first week to make the album Usher’s eighth top ten album on the Billboard 200. In his opinion, he is already working on the sequel to 2004’s Confessions, which he has been teasing since 2019. A part of Usher’s rousing performance for Cricket Wireless included the release of “Confessions Part III” , a song that, as his collaborator Jermaine Dupri explained on Twitter, turns the material of its predecessor on its head:

A female’s perspective is presented in “CONFESSIONS PART 3”. This song tells the story of a girl who cheats on him and gets pregnant with another man’s baby. This leaves her with the choice of keeping it or aborting it. Having learned this, should he stay or should he leave?”
