In this new “6 Mile Show” video, Icewear Vezzo collaborates with Babyface Ray

A new album by Babyface Ray called FACE graced the masses at the beginning of the year. There are 20 tracks on the album, including G Herbo, Pusha T, Wiz Khalifa, 42 Dugg, Icewear Vezzo, Yung Lean and Landstrip Chip produced by DJ Esco, 808 Mafia, Romano, OG Parker, ATL Jacob and more. In addition to landing on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums list and debuting at No. FACE made him the highest charting artist on the Independent Charts, landing at No. 2. 31 on the Billboard Top 200.

Detroit native Icewear Vezzo has released his newest visual, “6 Mile Show,” a song off his forthcoming album Southside & ATL Jacob. The song boasts an assist from Southside & ATL Jacob:

Ray has also announced the itinerary of his upcoming “Sincerely Face” tour to celebrate the release of his LP. The 21-date tour will launch in Seattle in May and conclude in Los Angeles on June 20.

In February of this year, Babyface Ray released Unfuckwitable, a 7-track EP that included guest appearances by Kash Doll, EST Gee, and Moneybagg Yo. Earlier this week, Babyface released a new single titled “Catch It.” The song was accompanied by a visual directed by Kardiak, which shows Babyface riding across sunny streetscapes, performing to large crowds, and going to the mall to complete his shopping spree.

“Lifetime” by Tyga shows how much he cares.

“Lifetime” by Tyga shows how much he cares.

I think Tyga is close to releasing his new album. We have already received a number of hit singles such as “Lift Me Up,” “Mrs. Bubblegum,” “Tell Santa,” and “Splash” with Moneybagg Yo. Tyga served up another emotional offering last week with “Lifetime,” which depicts him trying to balance his professional responsibilities with his personal relationships:

We have now been following Tyga’s most recent album Legendary for three years. The project originally featured 14 tracks with additional contributions from Blueface, Lil Wayne, J Balvin, Swae Lee, Chris Brown, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Gunna, Bazzi, and Offset, the latter of whom guested on Tyga’s comeback single, “Taste.” A deluxe version was later released, adding nine additional songs and collaborations with artists including Nicki Minaj, Starrah, G-Eazy, Ty Dolla $ign, Blueface, Takeoff, YG, and Rich The Kid.

After collaborating with DJ Drama in 2019, Tyga released a mixtape in 2020 called Well Done Fever. It may not surprise you to learn that he has become one of the most requested features in the game, supplying bars for songs including Mozzy and YG “Toot It Up,” Lil Tjay “Move,” Saweetie “Birthday,” Doja Cat “Freaky Deaky,” Iggy Azalea “Sip It,” and Shenseea “Target.”

With Lil Wayne, Juelz Santana, and more, Jim Jones releases a new video for “We Set The Trends”

With Lil Wayne, Juelz Santana, and more, Jim Jones releases a new video for “We Set The Trends”

Recently, Jim Jones released a remix to his hit single “We Set the Trends” featuring the Migos. The remix features additional contributions by Juelz Santana, DJ Khaled, and Lil Wayne, who immediately walked away with one of the best verses of his career:

In the present day, the Bordeaux, Non-Native, Kajun Waters, Manso, and Deroux-produced remix has been given an official visual presentation by Denity, Shula the Don, Will C., and Jones himself. As the clip progresses, the collaborators catch vibes from what seems like a warehouse that is full of high-end cars and eye candy galore. You’re now looking at a video that’s sure to earn you more than a few repeats once you add some dope effects.

As stated earlier, Jim Jones collaborated with DJ Drama on the Gangsta Grillz mixtape We Set the Trends, which was released in January. There were 25 tracks on the mixtape, as well as guest appearances from Pressa, Dave East,Fivio Foreign, Maino, Icewear Vezzo, Peezy, Doe Boy, Rah Swish, Dave East, Giggs, and more. Earlier this year, Dipset’s more prolific leader started off his stellar run with El Capo in 2019, followed by his deluxe upgrade in 2020. On December 20, 2021, he collaborated with Harry Fraud for The Fraud Department, an 11-song collection that included support from Belly, French Montana, Trav, Curren$y, Big Body Bes, Jay Worthy, to name just a few.

In “Thump Shit,” EST Gee and 42 Dugg live it up

It has been a while since EST Gee and 42 Dugg provided us with some hard-hitting visuals from their new mixtape, Last Ones Left, which officially dropped today and includes previous cuts like “Everybody Shooters Too” and “Free The Shiners.” Along with the project is another called “Thump Shit,” which features production from Jared Brown, Spiff Sinatra, Big Papito, and Isaiah Brown and is made up of street-oriented bars that are so multi-layered that more than one listen will not be sufficient to penetrate:

Diesel Films once again works its magic with the video for “Thump Shit,” which is a testament to what it means to live the rockstar lifestyle. As shown in various positions throughout, 42 Dugg and EST Gee are both decked out in heavy jewelry. In addition, they appear in a nightclub where Lil Baby makes an appearance.

Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group recently found success with Last Ones Left, which also features BlocBoy JB, Blac Youngsta, Moneybagg Yo, and Mozzy–the last of which Gotti announced during a CMG conference that took place over the weekend of the Super Bowl:

The legendary rapper said he has always wanted to work with an artist from the West Coast. “We’ve had big conversations, ran into each other, and shared ideas for years. Tonight, we bring our mozzy into CMG as a part of our partnership.”

A new video for Chlöe “Treat Me” has been released.

It was back in September when Chlöe Bailey made her solo debut with “Have Mercy,” which she produced in collaboration with FNZ, BoogzDaBeast, Joseph L’Étranger, and Murda Beatz. Earlier (April 8), Chlöe returned with a new record titled “Treat Me,” which was produced by OAK with a chorus flipped from Ying Yang Twins and Bubba Sparxxx 2005 hit “Ms. New Booty.” The lyrics of the song describe how a woman wants to be treated:

The accompanying video, directed by Diana Kunst, matches the passion of the song through a profusion of black-and-white and colorful shots. It’s not uncommon to see Chlöe breaking out motions with other dancers when she’s not catching vibes with tigers.

She explained to her fans the meaning behind “Treat Me” during an Instagram Live session:

Did you ever have a relationship that didn’t give you what you needed? Didn’t put forth the effort? There’s no reason why you should have to tell someone how to treat you. In other words, you should treat me in the same way that I treat you, because sometimes it’s just being annoyed that drives us to walk away, do it ourselves, get yourself some flowers, and show yourself some love. Here’s what I’m doing at the moment.
